2007-2008 Ranger of the Year Recap...
The 2007-2008 Regional Ranger of the Year was held on January 3, 2009 at the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Pennsburg, PA.
Twelve Adventure Rangers and twelve Expedition Rangers competed for top honors in the Northeast Region. There were a total of 92 registered attendees including participants, parents, guests, leaders, and staff. Because of the success from the prior year, the competition was again held as a 1-day only event with registration beginning at 8:00 AM. In the afternoon, 75 boys, parent, guests and leaders participated in a site-seeing tour of Valley Forge National Park. The event concluded that evening with a banquet recognizing 6 Outstanding and 6 Excellent Adventure Rangers ratings and 7 Outstanding and 5 Excellent Expedition Rangers ratings.
